Psychological Associates of Melbourne is private psychology practice located in Melbourne, Florida. We provide a variety of services, including: psychological and neuropsychological testing, forensic evaluations, and psychotherapy.  We have completed evaluations for people from a multitude of locations, both nationally and internationally, who have been representatives of many different ethnicities and religious affiliations.  We pride ourselves on our openness to individual differences and our respect for the cultures they represent.    

Wende J. Anderson, Psy.D., ABPP

     Dr. Wende Anderson is certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP),  the Harvard Global Mental Health: Trauma and Recovery Program, and The Trauma Center at Justice Resource Institute. She is additionally credentialed by the National Register of Health Service providers in Psychology, and has an extensive educational background, which includes her earning a Bachelor’s degree in piano performance from Samford University in 1991, a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from UAB in 2007, a Master’s degree in educational psychology from the University of Alabama in 2000, a Master’s degree in psychology from Florida Tech in 2002, and a doctorate in clinical psychology from Florida Tech in 2004.  Dr. Anderson additionally completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Florida Tech, while she was working in two private practices.  She started Wende J. Anderson, Psy.D., P.A., in 2007 and entered solo practice in 2010.  Given the need for psychological and neuropsychological testing in Central Florida, Dr. Anderson has worked with graduate and postgraduate students from Florida Tech, as well as highly gifted individuals from other programs through much of her career in private practice.  As of 2012, the company name became Psychological Associates of Melbourne in order to reflect the contributions of the others with whom Dr. Anderson works.
